General Finishes

I love it when I go picking on vacation and come home with a new fun project. This dresser caught my eye at a vintage shop. I normally go for full size dressers with spindly legs and a beautifully carved decorative back piece, but there was something so sweet and simple about the no frills on this cutie. She came with copper colored hardware, and I knew I had just the right fit for my vision. If there was ever a piece that turned out exactly as I imagined, this is the one. I painted her in Annie Sloan Old White, distressed the edges and some places that were imperfections because I believe you should work with what a piece is offering. I finished her in Annie Sloan Clear Wax and installed my new cast iron faucet knobs. This is one of my fastest project flips and easily an all time favorite.
