This piece was created in memory of my cousin Scott. He suddenly passed away several years ago and I wanted to make something for his Wife and Mother to have in his memory.
I used a Dewalt Plunge Router on Eastern Red Cedar to cut the pattern by hand. Once cut I used black spray ink to fill in the details and then wiped down with linseed oil before sealing with laquer.
