General Finishes

When I came across this desk I wanted it to make it stand out from the crowd! I began by painting the base in Rustoleum Bronze. I then used layer after layer of GF Copper Pearl Effects and Valspar Gold applied with seasponges to the sides and drawer fronts. I then added a beautiful Damask stencil to the sides of this stylish desk. To really tie the piece together I used 3 different stains on the wood. I was then able to achieve a more cohesive dimensional look. The stains used were GF Walnut, GF Nutmeg, and GF Vintage Cherry Dye Stain. Before sealing I added stenciling to the top and sides of the drawers. This desk was sealed in GF HPTC to ensure lasting durability! This vintage desk is sure to make a statement! It's very hard to show in pictures the almost holographic impact the metallics have when used this way!
