From cottage look to rustic with the help of a sander and a little stain. This table started out solid white straight out of a seaside cottage. Once cleaned up, sanding was underway. The top was completely cleaned of the white paint but the body was left very rustic and worn. Minwax stain in Java was applied over the whole table and wiped back fairly quickly to not absob too much color. Once it had dried, GF HPTC Flat was applied over it all. This girl went from lookin like she belonged seaside to living in the country.
