Dawn and I loved the curves on this 1990’s clasic maple table, however the yellow wood had to go. We updated it using General Finiahes Antique White for the chairs and base of the table. Since the table was maple we knew it wouldn’t take stain, but wanted to create the stained look. We decided to start mixing. We started with a base of General Finishes Driftwood, next we layered a few shades of General Finishes Milstone, Dark Chocolate and Linen to create a faux stained table top. We sealed all with Minwax Polycrylic.
