General Finishes

I was given this Vintage gossip chair to makeover for a Fundraising Benefit for a neighbor of ours.  100 % of the proceeds went towards the Benefit for Levi (a 10yr Old boy diagnosed with a very rare form of bone cancer).  So a lot of love went into this piece.  It was very old (and dirty) so it was cleaned with a degreaser (dawn and water).  After a thorough cleaning, I painted the chair with GF Snow White.  I sanded the tabletop down and stained with 1 coat of  Minwax Early American (sorry, it was all I had on hand--).  The top received three coats of GF High Performance top coat in flat.  The seat was recovered in a black and white material.
