This dresser had seen better days and had slowly become my tool bench in my garage. None of the drawers closed properly so I knew if I wanted to paint it one day I would have to get creative. One of my friends recently bought a house and needed some furniture. Luckily for me she also wanted to learn how to paint! So we set aside a few days, ditched the drawers and converted it into a media console- perfect for a TV with tons storage. (the middle drawers are the perfect size for dvds too) I’ve never converted something like this before but I’m so happy with how it came out. Painted in the classic Annie Sloan old white and duck egg, distressed, clear waxed, and finished with touches of gold gilding. It’s now ready for its new home!
