This pantry door was SO FUN to paint... and it was also for my own kitchen (YAY!) so I could reallly get creative with it! It’s actually “half” of a French door set that I found at our local Habitat ReStore.... and what do you know, it was the EXACT size of our pantry door... easy swap!!!
It all started with a coat of “Costal Blue”... I was going to distress and stop there... but since I was keeping it for myself, I decided to have a little bit of fun! I started getting carried away with “Seagull Gray” and “Driftwood” using them as accent colors. I was getting an old barn wood vibe with all the fun patina I was adding in. To top off the color scheme, I added in a bit of “Basil” for a touch of farmhouse charm! I added in all of the accent colors with a plastic putty knife, an aerosol water bottle, and a bit of dry brushing. I did A LOT of sanding as well to give it an old barnwood vibe! The door is also sealed up with GF HPTC!
I frosted the windows with a peel and stick privacy window film in a matte finish... (no one needs to see inside my super clean pantry! --) The doorknob was replaced with a glass/gold knob from Lowes!!!
I hope you love this transformation as much as I do!! Thanks for voting!!!! ❤️
