I've named this Bombay chest, The Bomb! She's curvy, vivacious and a mix of sassy and elegant. When I found her she was tan. A real Plain Jane.
I started by mixing two shades of teal. A dark and slightly lighter teal. I brushed on a base coat of dark teal. I applied the lighter color of teal, here there and everywhere. Before the it could dry I missed the lighter teal to make it run. After the very wet pieces dried I sealed the Bombay. Then I created several custom metallic colors using General Finishes Pearl effects. A combo of dabbing and misting made metallics run and merge. I then sealed the entire piece. I used several colors of Pearl Effects on the handles too.
