I acquired this piece from a local hotel that was replacing their furniture. It had so much detail, I just couldn't resist it!
I started by brushing on three coats of GF's Persian Blue Milk Paint. I then hand-painted Argentine Pearl Effects on all of the detail. Once it had dried, I outlined the detail using a detail brush and Pitch Black Glaze. Glaze was then applied over the detail, making sure to get in every crevice. I wiped off any excess glaze but made sure to leave it in key areas to give the detail depth and dimension. Once everything was completely dry, High Performance Top Coat in satin was applied. I also painted the handles to match the detail.
I'm calling this piece...Persian Blue Persuasion. How will it persuade those who admire it...will they purchase it, will they be inspired by it, will they pick up a paint brush and create their own work of art...Persian Blue Persuasion...
