I stumbled on these two IKEA nightstands at a thrift store for $10! I immediately knew what I would do with them.
The two were permanently joined together, seams filled and sanded smooth. A "new" salvaged MCM base replaced the square peg legs. Doors removed and cut down.
The body was given 3 coats of Snow White milk paint by General Finishes. Interior, doors and base received a custom blend of GF Antique Walnut gel stain and GF Java gel stain. Entire piece protected with HPTC in satin by General Finishes.
