My baby sister gave me this table she bought from Goodwill. I've had it a while before I decided I wanted to try decopdging the top in some vintage themed prints I had of old vintage themed playing cards, bingo cards, vintage advertising, A rooster, a butterfly, drangonflies and several more cool prints. I first painted the whole table top & base in GF Red Milk paint. Then I sanded lightly. I cut to size the vintage prints to fit perfectly on the top surface. I then glued/decopodged them all In place, smoothing air bubbles out. It started to take shape. Excited! I then let it dry well. I distressed the base and top surface edge by sanding to give it that worn look. I wipe with a damp rag. I used antique walnut stain to really make the table pop. I love using stain vs wax. It gives the project more depth. Oh it looked so vintage chic. I was in loved. I Sealed with GF HP topcoat and put two extra coats on top for durability. Dang I love it.
