The wood in 1970's home was oak and dated in order to bring it up to date and modernise the feel of this home, I stained the stairs and ballister with Java gel stain, I applied the stencil in 2 areas and used a metallic paint on top. The wood was sealed with General Finishes ASQT Arm-R-Seal Urethane.
