I fell in love when I laid eyes on the piece at a local garage sale. It was scratched all over and a leg was broken and barely hanging on. I couldn't wait to get it home. My creative wheels were turning. I had a custom mixed turquoise paint that I sprayed the entire Armoire with as the base color. I blended multiple color paints I had from Royale blue, Terra cotta, copper to olive and mint green. Just dry brushing randomly. Let's the paint dry overnight the I began distressing heavily. With my sander... It was developing before my eyes a beautiful transformation. I sat back and stared. After distressing I applied GF antique stain which made the distressing just pop out. I finished by sealing with GF topcoat in Satin. Wow.....I was in love. Totally transformed.
Zero to WOW!
