General Finishes

These 2 beauties were diamonds in the rough!  They just needed a modern update.  After sanding & priming, I decided to paint them with General Finishes Snow White Milk Paint.  After searching for the right paper, I finally found the perfect fit for these tables & went with a herringbone grey & white paper & applied with Modge Podge to the back of the inside space on each table & then lined all of the drawers in the same paper.  I didn't want to keep the original drawer pulls on them, so I removed them & then filled the holes with wood filler to cover them up.  I found the cutest feather drawer pulls & knew I had to use them on these tables.  They were origally a bronze color, so I spray painted them a gun metal black color.  Finally, I sealed the whole piece with General Finishes Satin Topcoat.
