I picked up this hutch on an online auction. It was originally a dark brown and had been residing in a garage for years. When I picked it up I was immediately inspired to paint it General Finishes Key West Blue Chalk Paint and distress it to add character. The pulls are original and I adore their natural aged patina. I love this blue, it is very close in color to my vintage Pyrex bowls. After removing the back panels I painted them General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint, finishing with General Finishes Flat Out Flat. The contrast in colors helps to showcase my hand thrown pottery, blue Ball jars, yellow anniversary vase and yellow pottery bowl, as well as my vintage Pyrex.
