I found this parlor table burried in a basement, not realizing i had found a gem. My plan was to take home and freshen up by painting.
Once I got it home I realized there were 3 to 4 coats of old paint already on it. So I started stripping and sanding, only to find a dull but beautiful inlayed design on top, with sexy curvey legs. Once the sanding was all finished I cleaned and scrubbed and could not paint over the inlayed design. So I used one of my favorite Gel Stains, GF Nutmeg Gel Stain, and it came back to life!! The project was sealed in GF Gel Topcoat Satin. I could not have been happier with the results!
