This side table makes a great addition to a colorful child's bedroom!
The table had some chipping paint, so before painting I first refinished the top. I sanded the top to remove all the old paint. Then I stained it a warm brown and sealed it with three coats of satin polyurethane.
I painted this end table a pale aqua blue using a custom mix of general finishes milk paints. I used 4 parts Snow White and 1 part Persian Blue to get this beautiful blue that reminds me of the palest blue sky in the summer. The hardware was updated by spray painting it oil rubbed bronze.
I love how this side table constrasts against the other vibrant colors in our daughter's bedroom, and provides a light and carefree feeling!
