This french provincial dresser makes a great addition to a colorful child's bedroom!
The dresser had some chipping paint, so before painting I first refinished the top. I sanded the top to remove all the old paint. Then I stained it a warm brown and sealed it with three coats of satin polyurethane.
I painted this dresser a pale blue using a custom mix of general finishes milk paints. I used 4 parts Snow White and 1 part Persian Blue to get this beautiful blue that reminds me of the sky in the summertime. The hardware was updated with some oil rubbed bronze spray paint.
I love how this dresser contrasts against the bright pink accents, and adds a fun yet sophisticated feeling to our daughters' bedroom.
