This Spinet desk was a lonesome piece of furniture at a garage sale. As other garage sale passer by's ignored it, I was glad they did because I was taking her home! I could see it's gleaming past life beyond the damaged wood and water marks. She is now an impressive piece, with the help of General Finishes!
Chalk paint was used on the body of the desk, and General Finishes Antique Walnut Gel Stain was used on the legs, pull out tray, drawers, and pigeon holes. This piece was finished with a combination of High Performance Top Coat in Satin on the legs, and the tray and drawers where finished with Gel Top Coat in Satin.
