Rusted glam

By Upwithfurniture

This clay pot was starting to flake and break up in places. I painted it with Tuscan Red Milk Paint then dry-brushed Persian Blue Milk Paint on top.  I added gilding sheets to the edges. Gilding sheets often glue on randomly and they gave the edge a worn look.  I sealed the pot with High Performance Top Coat.  It's not meant for outdoors but has held up for 2 summers.  The overall effect is something that is rusted and could have come out of Tuscany.
