Reloved Chest of Drawers

I was able to take an antique Chest of drawers that needed some love and revived it. Inremoved the drawer hardwareI cleaned the entire piece with odorless mineral spirits and sanded with a 150 grit sanding pad to get off old residue and grime.  I then sanded down the top and stained it with Java Gel Stain. I allowed that to dry for 48 hours and taped off and painted the bottom and drawers with GF Antique White Milk Paint. It took three coats to get a good coverage. Once it dried after a couple of hours between each coat I distressed it with the 150 grit sanding sponge and then put on three coats of GF High Performance Satin Top coat to the entire project. I also lined the drawers with contact paper to make this whole piece feel reloved!
