I'm not a big fan of waterfall furniture, but when this piece was sitting in the corner at an estate sale with no other furniture for me to fantasize over, I decided to challenge myself. I stared at it for weeks before doing a thing. I prepped and filled the holes knowing my plans had to be grand, a complete departure of the waterfall look. One day I woke up and though, I got it! I'm going to glam it up and go for modern chic. I painted it metallic. FAIL. It looked like one of those old silver campers, you know the ones that look like UFO's lol. Sheesh.. now what? It sat for another week before inspiration came out of thin air. I wanted texture, I wanted warmth, I wanted rustic yet I wanted glam. My vision was intact, and bippity boppity boo ensued! ✨
