The yew cut and the a section of bark removed from the middle to allow a faceplate screwed to the top. It was then fitted to the lathe and a base was turned and a reverse chucking point fitted. The piece was then rotated and fitted to the chuck. The top was then turned to create a natural edge bowl. It was then sanded to 300 grit and then sanding sealer applied. Then sanded up to 1200 grit and finished with two coats of naural beeswax.
