I have taken my husbands parents 1st dresser they bought 63 years ago and have turned it into a Masterpiece that we will treasure for many years to come.
Im using this all original, solid wood 47 in dresser as a night stand on my husband David's side of the bed. This beauty has been in our family and we plan to pass her down generation to generation. I am very excited to show her off.
I first lightly sanded and added 3 coats GF Millstone, Then added the GF VanDyke brushing it on and taking a damp cloth and wiping the color into the base coat. I used a cloth and completed the top with GF Georgian Cherry and then topped the dresser off with the finishing GF High Performance Satin Water based topcoat by adding 3 coats.
I wanted to use the original hardware so I used the Rust-Oleum Chestnut Hammered Spray paint and completed the hardware finish and put back on complimenting the dresser's/ now nightstands finaltouch.
I am totally a GF kinda girl.
