General Finishes

This mid century dresser got a fresh and modern makeover with high gloss paint and java gel stain. The frame of the dresser was primed and painted due to some wear to the veneer over the years. High gloss paint was used and it contrasts nicely against the stained drawers, doors, and base. 2 coats of Java gel stain applied over the original wood finish helped to refresh the wood and bring back its color. For a light sheen High Performance topcoat in satin was applied to the stained portions of the piece. On the interior drawers behind the center doors a geometric design was taped off and painted to add a fun surprise and a little interest to an already well designed modern credenza.
