General Finishes

This beautiful old Empire dresser had amazing lines but some of the wood had seen better days. When that happens I work hard to at least showcase some of the beautiful original wood, and this had plenty of it. I cleaned all of the wood and went over the areas I felt were still in good condition with finish restore. I then applied GF Gel stain in Antique Walnut to those areas. I then taped off the good wood in a pleasing pattern with a masculine feel to match the piece. The rest of the area received several coats of GF Milk paint in Driftwood. The entire piece was then topcoated in HPTC Satin.
