Drexel Declaration By Kipp Stewart

Our second Cinderella Story submission is this show stopping credenza.  This Drexel Declaration by Kipp Stewart was a diamond in the rough....the very rough.  It was found in a most unlikely location and when I was loading it into my SUV, I asked the person helping me if they thought the previous owners might have had a pet beaver?  The wood was that damaged.  But I knew it was solid as a rock, and that there was nothing that couldn't be patched and sanded.  I also knew that with all the original white porcelain and brass knobs...this piece would be a stunner in two-tone Snow White. It took a lot of elbow grease, many hours in the workshop, and a lot of Snow White....but I'm thrilled with the outcome. It is hands down my most favorite piece we've sold.   It now resides in a midcentury home of one of our best clients and they adore it as much as we do.

Vintage 109 - We describe our furniture painting style as "Reimagined Midcentury". To us, this is a fresh and modern take on well made furniture classics.  It's all about clean lines, simple silhouettes, and wood detail.  When we restore with paint, it gives the era a more relaxed and mod vibe...while working effortlessly with our clients existing decor.
