Custom built bench from headboard!

You guys... I had this old warped headboard sitting in my "junk" pile at the studio. Nearby, a few old coffee table legs sat, begging for a new purpose. I took one look at these discarded items and it hit me - I didn't have to throw these pieces away just because everyone else had said they were junk.

I spent a few days building a bench frame, using the old coffee table legs as front supports for the bench. A new wood seat was made from lumber I had leftover from another project. So far this project had $0 invested, so I could splurge on some paint! I ran to the store and bought a variety of General Finishes Milk Paint, top coat, and other supplies and got straight to work on the custom finish!

Since I live in Charleston, South Carolina, I like to incorporate coastal vibes into some of my finishes!

This coastal inspired bench sold within a few hours of posting!
