I spotted this old dresser with a missing drawer covered with junk in a thrift shop. What if I took that drawer guide out , finished the space, and called it a media cabinet or buffet instead? Okay! Cut a board and trim to fit the empty drawer space before priming the entire dresser. I painted it a lighter blue, but it just looked so flat. Using two other paints, I blended the colors to add depth, then topped it off with brown glaze. Painted the trim gold, then finished the sanded top with Java Gel Stain. Satin poly on the body and semi gloss poly on top. New hardware for the drawers and she's ready to go!
