General Finishes

This farm table had a one of a kind top made from the Black Gum tree.  To save the beautiful look of the unique grain pattern we used General Finishes Pre Stain Natural. The base of the table, bench, and the chair frames were primed and then painted with General Finishes Persian Blue milk paint. Once the base and chairs were painted we did a medium rub to give a light distressed look. The table base, bench, and the chair frames were then coated with General Finishes Van Dyke Brown glaze. The chair seats and bench seat were then stained with General Finishes Oil Base Pecan to match some of the table top coloring, giving the table top a nice compliment of color. The whole project was then clear coated with General Finished Enduro Clear Poly Satin.
