The black beauty was in sad state when I picked her up. She was missing trim, vaneer chipped, and lifting, water stains, foot piece missing, and loose doors.
I gave her a new life, after many hours of filling, sanding, making molds, and fixing the doors. The real fun came when I finished her off with General Finishes Lamp Black to bring out her hidden beauty. With a natural stained top in weathered oak, and a bit of ebony mini wax stain. Painted with lamp black and distressed on the areas that had not been repaired to show the beauty underneath! Then I added gorgeous carved wood knobs in a rustic feminine finish to add that final touch.
By far this is my absolute favorite hutch to date that I saved!
