Art Deco Vanity Revival

By Stacy, Blogger at Anastasia Vintage

I set out to refinish this pretty art deco vanity with General Finishes products from head to toe! I started with a base of GF Milk Paint in Linen, then drew out the details with accents of Chalk Style Paint in Empire Grey. I used GF Pearl Effects in Burnished to add touches of gold throughout, and glazed the entire piece with Glaze Effects in Van Dyke Brown. The drawers and wood accents were refinished in a mix of Antique Walnut and Java Gel Stains. Flat Out Flat and Arm-R-Seal were used to seal and protect the piece. I loved layering and blending different GF products to create an interesting, elegant finish.
