This queen size bed is made of solid American Black Walnut. The headboard and footboard were painstakingly constructed from individual bricks of walnut I milled to varying thickness and lengths. The rails are also solid walnut milled to 1.5" thick. This bed has solid wood slats which eliminated the need for a box-spring. The finish is General Finishes EnduroVar, satin. No stains or dyes were used.
