Taking recycling to another level, the remaining pieces of Burr Oak from our "Beaches of Cheyenne" table (see entry in tables) were resawn to about 1/2" in thickness and designed into two beautiful wall art pieces. Each piece has a different combination of pigments giving the rivers a slighly different hue. Both pieces however contain compounds that let the rivers glow in the dark giving them a very unique feature.
These pieces were both finished with 3 coats of General Finishes Arm-R-Seal in satin wiped on with a soft cotton rag.
