It was Saturday and I was staring into my sparse paint cupboard as if it was an empty refrigerator and had to make a 5 course meal. I was totally uninspired and knew that none of the cans held enough paint to complete my hutch. I grabbed 6 different cans and started combining. Napoleonic Blue, Florence, Amsterdam Green, Provence, Graphite and a smidgen of English Yellow. The end result was Teal.
I painted the exterior with this Teal concoction of Chalk Paint. I sealed it and then applied it General Finishes Black Glaze.
I stain blocked the interior and then painted it with General Finishes Antique White Milk Paint,
I sealed the entire piece with two coats of General Finishes HPTC and two coats of Flat.
