Stone Finish

By Chelsea Evans, Furniture Artist at Apple Blossom Way in Salem, UT.

Painted in Apple Blossom’s signature stone finish this vintage dresser resembles a granite or stone finish. Layers of grey dry brushed in a criss-cross pattern using a chip brush to give texture. Starting with darker tones first in Annie Sloan Graphite, then French linen, and finished with Paris grey over top.

Find sanded for a smooth touch but no distressing.

The entire piece was then glazed in Valspar oil gel stain tinted in van dyke brown.

The top was stripped and stained in minwax Ebony. The entire piece sealed with minwax polycrilic in matte for lasting durability.
