Antique curio cabinet brought back to life with hand painting and design. It has curved chicken wire "glass" and claw feet. There are four shelves and a glass door. It's an eclectic and unique way to display treasured items. I had originally refinished this curio cabinet in white but yesterday I had a patina bug and decided it needed some color. It's funny how much one's style changes in just a year. Since it wasn't selling in neutral I threw all caution to the wind and went crazy with patina. I love it so much more now and I'm much prouder of the results this time around. I think it's much more important to express yourself then to give in to a quick turn around. I'll be making a tutorial of this one for sure. Painted with dixie belle dropcloth, vintage duck egg, gold rub n buff, iron metallic paint, copper metallic paint, bronze metallic paint, green activator, blue activator, electric blue activator, and sea glass. The rust on the bottom and chicken wire give it that bar wood chic.
