Polished Pale Patina

By Amanda Dillon, Artist at Mettle Modern Design in Navarre, FL.

This beaut'iful neutral dresser features pale metallic accents and ever so light, delicate features.  A client dubbed it a "pale metallic driftwood recreation."

Created in a base color of PPG Steamed milk, it has been adorned with a very diluted colorwash with GF dark chocolate, sprayed with water until it left only a hint of color behind.  A diluted GF Van dyke brown glaze was also used, as was MM Metallic in warm silver, and gilders paste in german silver.
