General Finishes

I painted this beauty using dixie belle mint julep and vintage duck egg. I decoupage floral wall paper for the background. Driftwood wax was applied last to give the colors more cohesion. I used a wet brushing technique because I wanted the colors more blended. First I put on a coat of mint julep. I let that dry. Using a wet brush I brush on vintage duck egg. I repeat the process until I get a blended look. I also lightly scuffed the surface after it was dry to make the undertones stand out.
