Odds and Ends Dinette Set

By LaDeeDa Design Lori Gravink, Owner Designer at LaDeeDa Design in Crystal, MN.

This dinette set is an odds and ends story. The pieces all came into my studio at different times and had been in a corner neglected for a long time. I made a decision to either paint them or donate them. I decided to paint.

Two chairs that I found on a corner in my neighborhood, a $4.99 pine table from a thrift store and a small flip top bench that was part of a friend’s dining set that she no longer wanted.

I painted them with ASCP Chalk Paint, distressed them, glazed them with General Finishes black glaze, and sealed everything  with General Finishes Sanding Sealer and the a final coat of flat.

The Customer who bought them is using them on her 3- season porch. She said she wanted a place to sit and read and drink her coffee and invite friends in to do the same.
