When I saw this 1933 Vintage vanity I knew it had to be mine to redo! The tops were not attached and it was in very rough shape after I brought it home. Sanded this all down, filled in the dents and dings, re-attached the top and went to work. I knew this would have bleed through so 2 coats of Shellac, 2 coats of primer. Then the metallics! I used Modern Masters, Silver, Champagne, Gold and then gilding wax over all of the details. After I was finished I noticed the front looks like a giant smile!
