Who says you can't do a transfer with an ink jet printer!?! Once this simple jewelry box was embellished with appliques made with DAP caulk in silicone moulds (IOD and other) it was painted with HT French Vanilla. Once dried, image was printed reverse on a plastic sheet and then laid on the top of the box and a credit card was used to press the ink in to the paint. After giving plenty of time to dry, it was sealed with GF HPTC Flat then Amy Howard Antiquing Wax was applied mainly on the embellishments to highlight their details including the faux lock. Shes not quite so plain anymore!
