Faux Wood Barn Door

Barn doors used in offices or homes should be a statement piece not just another door dividing two rooms. These barn doors went from a plain white solid core door to a beautiful faux wood statement piece! 

Using several different colors and mixing with General Finishes water based glaze, I was able to create this beautiful faux wood look.

  • Base color: Behr RE Hard Graphite
  • Second coat: 4 parts glaze 1 part light custom paint
  • Third coat: 4 parts glaze 1 part dark custom paint
