Butterfly Cabinet

By Sandi Zelkoff, Owner/Designer at Walnut Hill Decor in Buchanan, MI.

Once dark and dreary, this little cabinet has been transformed into a bright, whimsical piece.

Decoupaged butterflies against a calming peacock-like background fly upwards in a symphony of color!

The earthy distressed paint tones of blended blues and greens, create the perfect background for these lovely creatures.

For the interior we used Arles with a mocha glaze, love the contrast with the peacock doors!

Lastly we added these turned legs that once housed a stool.

For children and adults of all ages...who doesn’t hold butterflies close to their hearts--
