Buffet to Island

This is one of my favorite projects - turning a buffet into an island or a bar, creating a fun, practical secondary purpose. We removed a drawer to create a shelf for dishes, pans, or any other storage. Painted in Fusion Mineral Paint Soapstone, it is sealed in High Performance Satin. The top is stained in General Finishes Antique Walnut Oil Based Stain, with a layer of Antique Walnut Gel Stain, sealed with GF Arm-R-Seal.
