The wood jewelry box has been updated simply in aged black and she now is the showstopper in the room.
After cleaning and sanding, a couple of coats of Wise Owl Black were applied and a fine grit sandpaper was used to distress the edges to highlight the details. Sealed with GF HPTC in Flat and the drawers were relined with black felt after the original hardware was reattached.Â
