This chest is an absolute beauty from the early 1900's. The drawers have a stunning tiger oak grain that made them the perfect candidate for dye stain, which penetrates the grain deeply and accents its unique patterns with an incredible depth of color. This exceptional wood grain was brought out with General Finishes dye stain in Medium Brown. The body was painted with a combination of Linen milk paint and Chapin Gray chalk style paint and distressed for a chippy, weathered look that contrasts gorgeously with the rich brown stain. This antique chest is handsomely detailed and will be beloved for another 100 years!
