Shabby chic End Table

By Melissa Flippin, Owner/Artist at Flippotential Custom Finishes in Wheelock, TX.

This 70's end table was headed for the Island of misfit furniture.

I began by lightly sanding the glossy surface. I then applied two coats of General Finishes Millstone milk paint.  Next, I lightly distressed all surfaces. Then I applied GF High Performance Top Coat Satin. Next, i gave it a wash of GF Snow White milk paint.  GF Van Dyke Brown glaze was added in areas to give definition and "age" it. And finally, I dry-brushed more Snow White milk paint on the gorgeous details on the door to really bring them out.
