This vintage solid cherry wood piece was prepped by sanding lightly with 200 grit and cleaning with a 50/50 denatured alcohol and water solution. The top was sanded with an orbital electric sander to remove the original finish. The piece was brush painted in General Finishes Basil Milk Paint. Slightly distressed and it's character enhanced with the fabulous Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects. The knobs painted with Antique White Milk Paint and slightly distressed. The top was stained with General Finishes Gel Stains in the Java Color. Everything was sealed with High Performance Top Coat in Satin for protection and a beautiful sheen.
